The Concept
The Shrine is an installation based project. It stands for a graveyard maze where souls will be trapped in after death, and will eventually travel to the center city for annihilation in their effort of escaping. Components for this installation are miniature landscape sets, lightbox with patterns and drawings.

About the artist
Nori (Jiayin) Shi is a digital artist, illustrator, director and visual narrative artist. Born in China and currently based in New York, her works mainly focus on color landscapes and black-and-white line arts, with various materials from experimental short film to installation sculptures.
